    This Email Address will be the main point of contact for newsletters, assignments, and bills. This main email must be the one consistently used by the participant for interacting with SPC webinars, assignments, etc.

  • By electronically signing below, the entrant agrees to the following statements:

    - The steer(s) listed above meet all of the following criteria being: polled/dehorned, castrated prior to weaning — no cryptorchids, weighs between 500 and 750 pounds, physically and internally healthy, per entrant's best knowledge.

    - Submit $65 entry fee per head, as charged to AJSA account no later than November 20, 2023.

    - Pay monthly feed and vet bills, per invoicing from chosen feedlot in a timely manner.

    - Entrant agrees to attend monthly online meetings, understanding missing greater than one meeting will result in removal from program.

    - Entrant agrees to record feed and vet bills, as well as complete all required assignments.

    - Entrant agrees to maintain ownership of animal(s) but release decision making of animal's best interest to the American Simmental Association (ASA) and Feedlot staff including but not limited to: emergency

    veterinary procedures, implant strategy, feeding decisions, and harvest date.

    - ASA, The University of Missouri Feedlot, and trucking staff or any other involved parties are not responsible or liable for any injury, illness or pre-harvest death that may occur to the animal(s).

    Any variation from the above stated agreement may cause the steer(s) to be removed from the Steer Profitability Competition.

    Although the exhibitor will receive end-product payment, the animal will no longer be eligible for competition or provided data, or any awards/recognition.
